BOILER SERVICING

Trust in us. It is essential you get your boiler serviced annually to ensure it is working as safely and efficiently as possible.

 

These checks are vital for the safe and reliable performance of your boiler and give insight to future problems before they occur. These checks also validate any warranty as specified by the manufacturer and us the installer. 

  • Gas tightness test to check for gas leaks on any appliance, pipe work or fittings.

  • Gas pressure test to check the appliance is operating at the correct gas pressure.

  • A flue analyser test to ensure there are no unsafe emissions from your boiler, adjustment is normally necessary.

  • Inspect your boiler and controls to make sure they are operating safely and correctly, fill and vent radiators.

  • Clean condensate trap, remove build-up of debris.

  • Visually inspect the boiler to check for corrosion and leaks.

  • Complete Manufacturer Benchmark yearly certificate and provide Gas Safe certificate valid for one year.

Gas certificates are an important aspect of our job to ensure our client knows they have the relevant Gas Safe certification to prove that their boiler is in the best possible working order.

 

 At Pipeline Heating we provide boiler safety certificates for all new installations and existing installations.

  • Check appliance for gas tightness

  • Check standing and working pressures, if test points are available

  • Check burner pressure/gas rate against manufacturer guidelines

  • Check for satisfactory provision of all necessary ventilation

  • Test flue flow to ensure removal of products of combustion

  • Check satisfactory operation of all the flame failure devices

  • Check for physical stability, presence and effectiveness of stability brackets (where appropriate)

  • Investigate any evidence on unsafe operation
